HISTORY
Brief history and introduction of the
Pakistan Association, Japan (Regd):

The Pakistan Association, Japan, was founded in Tokyo around 40 years
ago, by the Pakistani students studying in Japan on exchange program, with
the aims and objectives to assist the Pakistani community in their day-to-day
needs during their stay in Japan.
One of the main aims and objectives of the Association is to keep the
Japanese Government informed of the issues related to the community and
apprise them of the problems faced by Pakistani community members in
Japan in order to enable them to solve such problems amicably to the best
interest of all.
On various important occasions, Pakistan Association, Japan met with the
high ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior of
Japan and other various ministries, and we are pleased to mention here that
they extended us fullest cooperation, help and assistance on such
occasions.
It would not be out of place to mention here that the Pakistan Association,
Japan is maintaining friendly relations with around 100 Japanese
Parliamentarians, various ministers, vice-ministers, high ranking government
officials, high ups in the business community, various university professors,
high ranking officials of JAICA, JETRO, Chamber of Commerce, the
Japanese media and foreign missions in Japan.
We have friendly relations at grass root level with various social welfare
organizations in Japan, which work with us closely and willing to help and
assist us in our day-to-day needs.
The Association tries its level best to help our hosts, the Japanese people,
during natural disasters like floods or earthquakes etc.
We have good relations with other Pakistani organizations, working for
religious and cultural cause including (1) Islamic Circle of Japan, (2) Japan
Islamic Trust, (3) Adara-e-Minhajul Quran, Japan,
(4) Anjuman-e-Farogh-e-Adab, Japan, (5) Abdul Raheem Welfare Trust,
Japan, (6) International Muslim Centre, Japan, (7)
Jamaat-e-Tableegh-o-Dawa, Japan, (8)Muslim Graveyard Committee,
Japan, (9) Islamic Centre, Japan and (10) Arabic Islamic Institute, Japan, etc.
Pakistan Association, Japan is duly registered with the concerned
Japanese government authorities and enjoys close and friendly working
relations with various Japanese foundations, media and universities, etc.
